Rosalia
Rosalia Vila, also known as Rosalia Rosaly, is a Spanish singer from flamenco. From the time she was a teenager, Rosalia has explored the outskirts of traditional and pop music. Pepe Habichuela has said that her voice as crisp and sweet but possessing a bit of bite. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her an Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a huge commercial and critical hit that topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and ultimately getting the Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami was her third album that was full-length. The album featured collaborations on songwriting with other artists and producers, including Cory Henry. The album was released in March 2022 following a performance of the track Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish solo performer to be a part of Saturday Night Live. Motomami Rosala, in addition to winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, she was the first woman to be awarded both.
